How much do you know about Indian Motorcycle history?

When it comes to iconic American made motorcycles, the Indian is up there in the ranks. In case you didn't know, Indian motorcycle history is  full of good ol' American ingenuity and perseverance, you should check it out.

Indian Motorcycles was a company that got its start way back in 1897. That was when George M. Hendee founded a bicycle production company that he named after himself, the Hendee Manufacturing Company. That game plan changed later in 1901, when Oscar Hedstrom built a gasoline engine to power the bike. After that, the seeds had been planted for the company to build a legacy of making making powerful and reliable machines.

But, I'm guessing if you're here already,  you are well versed in Indian Motorcycle history. Are you ready to put your knowledge to the test? Here's a quiz that covers the history of Indian Motorcycles, and I've thrown in some lesser-known trivia to hopefully give you history buffs a run for your money.
