Iconic Harley-Davidsons in Movies

Forget divas, let's go with Dynas. Heart-throbs? More like Hydra-Glides.Even movie directors feel the rumble from time to time, and here are five iconic movies that feature a best supporting actor: Harley-Davidson.

5) Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

Any fans of David Lynch out there? Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me is the 1992 surrealist sequel to the cult classic Twin Peaks, and features its own badass bike. One of the main characters, James Hurley, is known for his love of his 1975 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide and the open road (while pretty sweet guitar riffs play in the background).

4) Pulp Fiction

Speaking of cult classics, Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction is definitely up there on the list. Zed’s dead, and as far as his 1986 Harley-Davidson FXR named Grace, well... “it’s not just a motorcycle, baby. It’s a chopper. Come on.”

3) Machete

In 17 of the coolest cinematic seconds of all time, Danny Trejo makes his Softail as kickass as he is. How, you ask? Oh, just by mounting a minigun on it and flying through the air causing mayhem. Awesome.

A cyborg is sent from the future on a deadly mission, and you better believe he’s going to ride as something as badass as a Fat Boy. Bad to the bone...

1) Easy Rider

Of course we couldn’t talk about this and not mention the godfather of iconic motorcycle movies. Easy Rider is the classic of classics, they simply don’t make them like this anymore. Not only does the movie showcase its characters living life to the fullest, but it pretty hits the nail on the head when it comes to the freedom you feel between a motorcycle and the open road. Just watch this into and tell me it doesn’t get your blood pumping.

Long live Easy Rider, the most legendary motorcycle movie of all.
